Smart City Consortium (SCC) takes pleasure to be the Strategic Partner of FinTech Awards and it is my honour to be invited as the Head of Judge.

SCC has been emphasizing the importance of FinTech as a key infrastructure of Smart City for Hong Kong. Nowadays, no one will deny that innovation and technology is the engine to lead the future development. We all need to be “future-ready” by nurturing a culture that encourages new thinking and ideas.

Hong Kong’s competitiveness in the FinTech sector hinges on a strong talent pool. It is important for our government to formulate policies for talent acquisition and training. In the short term, strategies should be devised to attract FinTech experts to work in Hong Kong.

FinTech Awards, organised by ET Net for the second consecutive year, is a platform for stakeholders in the field to explore and unleash their creative prowess and innovative thinking.
